Delhi - Haridwar - Mussoorie - Ranikhet - Nainital - Delhi
This eco friendly tour, as the itinerary suggests, explores the unknown Uttarakhand tucked in the folds of Shivalik Hills. From Delhi, the tour covers Haridwar, the gateway of gods situated on the banks of River Ganges on plains and along with it illustrates the bountiful heritage of Mussoorie, Ranikhet and Nainital which are the cool eco tourism retreats of the God’s Land Tour.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi, meet Incredible India Tour for assisted transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 : Delhi - Haridwar (B/L/D)
After breakfast, check out Delhi and begin the drive to Haridwar (5 hr drive). Upon arrival here, transfer to the hotel for overnight stay. Later begin exploring this spiritual town by visiting the Ashrams and famous temples of Mansa Devi via cable car and Chamunda Devi. In the evening, return to Har Ki Pauri and witness the surreal evening Aarti along the spiritual river front here. On return, scout the local markets here and after dinner, return to the hotel in Haridwar for night stay.
Day 03 : Haridwar - Mussoorie (B/L/D)
Post breakfast; check out Haridwar for a drive to Mussoorie. Enroute visit Rishikesh, portrayed on the world map after the Beatles visit to this town for transcendental meditation happened. This changed the western view of Indian spirituality and now the town attracts a great number of foreign tourists for their different reasons, prominent among them are yoga, ayurveda, spa, naturopathy and spiritual learning. As a part of Rishikesh's sightseeing, visit the suspended bridge of Laxman Jhoola on the River Ganges. Upon arrival in Mussoorie, transfer to the hotel and the day is free to discover magical Mussoorie on your own. Travellers can stroll around the bustling Mall road here or explore the local attractions of this British hill station. Overnight in Mussoorie.
Day 04 : Mussoorie (B/L/D)
After breakfast, proceed towards Mussoorie's sightseeing and visit the Kempty Waterfall here. A little drive down will take a traveller to the sandy Yamuna Bank which offers great views for photography. If time permits, mark an excursion towards Dhanaulti, a quiet hill station known for its impressive wealth of alpine forests of Deodar, Rhododendron and Oak. Here, one can find a great reason to cherish the natural bounties. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight in Mussoorie.
Day 05 : Mussoorie - Ranikhet (B/L/D)
Check out Mussoorie after breakfast and proceed towards Ranikhet (7-8 hours drive). Literally translated as 'Queen's meadow', this hill town's beautiful enchantment lies in its panoramic Himalayan views and lush forest trails abound. On arrival, transfer to hotel in Ranikhet. Optional - Please a golfer in you by playing the game at The Army Golf Course and soak in the greens of Ranikhet. Rest of the day is free at leisure and overnight stay.
Day 06 : Ranikhet (B/L/D) - Kausani
Morning after breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Kausani, often referred to as 'Switzerland of India' for its breathtaking views of Himalayas and bountiful nature. Eco trek through the peaks of Nanda Choti, Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchol for which Kausani is known for. Especially, the views of the peaks during dawn and dusk are indeed enchanting. Return to Ranikhet in the evening. Overnight in Ranikhet.
Day 07 : Ranikhet - Nainital (B/L/D)
Drive to Nainital (3 hours drive). On arrival, transfer to the hotel. This eye pleasing hill station is pictured for a Mall Road along Naini Lake and lined by Mountains on the other side of the lake. The hill station is known for a variety of eco tourism activities. These include boating in the lake, visiting the Naina Devi Temple, horse ride, shopping wax souvenirs at the Mall Road. Explore the core of Nainital on your own and return to the comforts of the hotel in overnight.
Day 08 : Nainital (B/L/D)
Morning after breakfast, proceed for full day tour of Nainital. Enjoy boat ride on the lake. Avail the cable car ride to the hilltop in Nainital, which forms the core of Nainital tour. Overnight in Nainital.
Day 09 : Nainital - Delhi (B/L/D)
On day 9th, check out Nainital and drive to Delhi (7-8 hours). Enroute stop over at the Dhabas and return to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10 : Delhi Depart (B/L/D)
Begin a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. In the evening, transfer to the airport and board the connecting flight for onward destination.
