Day 01: Coimbatore - Drive to Silent Valley

Arrive at Coimbatore Airport/ Coimbatore Railway station. Pick up and transfer to Silent Valley, on arrival check in to Resort. Silent Valley National Park is a fragile tropical forest, flourishing in the folds of the Nilgiris. One gets to see around 1000 plant species in this 238 square kilometres forested area. The valley boasts of strong mythological connection with Mahabharata, the grand epic where Pandavas spent some of their time in exile. The local names of Sai-randhi-vanam (forest of Draupadi, wife of Pandavas) and Kunthi-puzha (mother of Pandavas) verify such claims. Present day Silent Valley is more known for its impeccable mix of wildlife and forests, still untouched by mankind.

Day 02 Silent Valley:

Morning go for local sightseeing by visiting Silent Valley National Park and have Jungle Safari inside the protected natural heritage site.

During Jungle Safari you get to spend the whole day in company of this unique tropical evergreen rain forest area. This Safari also showcases the precious animals living silently in this protected park. Tigers, deer, and mammals native to the South Indian peninsula, such as Great Indian Hornbill, Nilgiri languor, Malabar Giant Squirrel, Lion – Tailed Macaque, Flying squirrel and Civet Cat can also be seen in Silent Valley National Park. Besides this, numerous species of birds, butterfly and moths contribute to the untouched natural ecosystem of this cool valley. Overnight Stay at Silent Valley.

Day 03 Silent Valley - Wayanad (By Road 240 km in 5.5 hrs)

Check out from the hotel and drive to Wayanad. It is one of the most scenic and salubrious destinations in Kerala. Perched at an altitude of 700-2100m in the majestic Western Ghats, Wayanad is a place acclaimed for its enthralling natural splendor. Ferns, moss, plants and trees in every conceivable shades of green cover every inch of Wayanad. The mighty mountain backdrop wrapped in mist is another attraction of experiencing Wayanad.

The Rivers of Wayanad - Panamaram, Mananthavady and Kabani along with their tributaries gurgle and gush through the green landscape. This district is famous for its luxurious whiff of spices, coffee, tea, cardamom, peppers and rubber plantations which cover the green folds on the Nilgiris. Afternoon at leisure at hotel. Day 04 Wayanad:

The journey to Wayanad furthers next morning by visiting Pookot Lake, Edakkal Caves, Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary & Lakiddi View Point.

Pookode Lake- Pookode, the natural fresh water lake nestling amid evergreen forests and mountain slopes is famous for boating. Flowing at an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level and spread over an area of 8.5 hectares, this lake is one of the must visit hotspots of Wayanad.

Edakkal Caves- The natural caves at Edakkal still preserve the pictorial writings belonging to 5000 BC, the Stone Age period. These carvings are a rare specimen of stone carving still existing in South India. Protected naturally by gigantic rock roof, these caves depict animal and human figures and convey the highly civilized past of southern ancestors. Overnight Stay at Wayanad.

Day 05: Wayanad - Mysore

Morning drive to Mysore. In the afternoon visit Mysore Palace, Brindavan Gardens, Chamundi Hills, etc. Overnight at hotel.

Mysore is a perfect epitomisation of southern royalty. The heritage city of Mysore, is more used as a sobriquet than the city itself by being associated with special variety of silk, petta– a special royal turban, pak – a royal sweet, and sandalwood's enchanting aroma.

Day 06: Mysore - Bangalore

Morning visit remaining sightseeing places such as St. Philomenas Church, Rail Museum, etc. Later proceed to Bangalore and check into hotel.

Day 07: Bangalore / Out

Ashoka Pillar, St. Mary's Church, Gandhi Bhavan, Ulsoor Lake, Vidhana Soudha, etc. In time drive to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
