Next in the series is the visit to Mattancherry ‘Dutch Palace’ (Closed on Fridays). Another iconic attraction here is the cantilevered Chinese Fishing Nets. These large nets line the entrance to the harbour mouth and present the city at its picturesque best. Also visit the Jew town and the Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fridays & Saturdays). Constructed in 1568, tgus place of Jewish worship is the oldest among synagogues in the Commonwealth of Nations. Overnight in Kochi.

After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Munnar (4 hr.) This is one of the most popular hill stations in India located at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuhza, Nallathanni and Kundala. On arrival, transfer to Windermere / Club Mahindra property. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.

After breakfast, visit Sita Devi Lake, Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lakes renowned for their splendid beauty in Munnar. Also visit Eravikulam National Park, a rare wild forest featuring high elevation shola-grassland ecosystem. Nilgiri Tahrs, a special kind of wild goat can also be spotted here. Also visit Anamudi, the tallest peak in south India. Here the rare Neelakurinji flower (which blooms once in 12 years) can be seen. Overnight in Munnar.

After breakfast, check out Munnar and drive to Periyar, famous for a national park. This unique wildlife sanctuary is about 780 sq. km in area and located around an artificial lake fed by the Periyar River. In the afternoon, enjoy a short trek in the forest with a naturalist. During this interpretative program, observe the birds, butterflies and other wildlife in the eco friendly park. Overnight stay in Cardamom County.

Day 05: Thekkady (Periyar) – Alleppey (150 km & 04 hr. Approx)

After breakfast, check out Thekkady and drive to Alleppey. Upon reaching here, transfer to the jetty and board the deluxe houseboat, known as Kettuvallam. A cruise here offers an enchanting experience of a lifetime. Traversing through a network of canals and lagoons, this cruise provides visitors an opportunity to observe the picturesque Keralan village scenery. Overnight on Board.
