DAY 1: Arrive Cochin

Arrive Cochin. On arrival, meeting & assistance at Cochin Airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 2: Cochin

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning enjoy city tour of Cochin including visit to the St. Francis Church, where in 1524 the Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama was buried before his Remains to Portugal convicted. For Mattancherry-Palace or Dutch Palace with well-preserved wall paintings and the Jewish synagogue in the city. (Closed on Fridays & Saturdays) and see the Chinese fishing nets.

In the evening, witness a Kathakali Dance performance at local auditorium.
Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3: Cochin - Kumarakom (70 Kms / Approx 02 Hrs drive)

After breakfast at Hotel, drive to Kumarakom. On arrival check-in at Hotel.

Afternoon visit Bird Sanctuary. Kumarakom is a typical Kerala village, on the eastern bank of the Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom and the nearby islands are a roosting place for migratory birds.
Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 04: Kumarakom - Day cruise of Houseboat in the backwater

Breakfast at hotel. Later board a Houseboat for a day cruise for approx 5 Hours with Lunch. The traditional Keralan riceboats were converted into comfortable houseboats, ideal for a leisurely cruise through the region’s tropical backwaters. This is a tranquil haven where the visitor can watch rice fields, coconut palms and the activities of day-to-day rural life.

Evening, disembark from Houseboat and transfer back to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 05: Kumarakom – Munnar (145 kms / Approx 4 ½ Hrs drive)

Morning Breakfast at hotel. Later depart by surface from Kumarakom to Munnar.

On arrival check-in at Hotel.

Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India's highest peak (Anamudi- 2695mts). Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 06: Munnar

Morning breakfast at Hotel.

Later enjoy visit of Munnar. Visit tea Garden to explore the beauty of town, Eravikulam National Park, the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hylcrious) -the mountain goat of South India, tea museum (remain closed on Mondays) & Mattupatty dam. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 07: Munnar – Cochin (130 kms / Approx 4 Hrs drive) Cochin – Departure

Morning breakfast at Hotel.
Later drive further to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin, direct transfer to the Airport to connect flight for onward destination.
